| Manuscript Assessment Payment Options |
Option 1: You may send the first 60 pages of your manuscript, a short synopsis and
$80.00 payment.
For this you will receive:
- A concise report outlining the strengths and weaknesses of your work including
suggestions for improvement in the areas of presentation, general interest, writing
techniques, structure, point of view, style and overall tone. - An extensive proofread and edit on one full page of your manuscript. This may help
you to edit the work yourself before submitting it. This can tighten your writing and
decrease your word count.
Note: If you choose to proceed with the entire manuscript appraisal, the $80.00 will be
discounted from your full payment.
Option 2: You may send your entire manuscript with a flat rate payment according to word
count (see below).
$300.00 - up to 30,000 words
$350.00 - up to 50,000 words
$450.00 - up to 100,000 words
For this you will receive:
- A detailed report (minimum 2 pages) outlining the strengths and weaknesses of
your work including suggestions for improvement in the areas of presentation,
general interest, writing techniques, structure, point of view, style and overall tone.
This report will also guide you toward ensuring that your manuscript fulfils your
specific goals.
- An extensive proofread and edit on two full pages of your manuscript. This will give
you ideas on how to polish your work before taking it further.
- A list of general writing and submission tips and possible markets chosen
specifically for you.
Note: If you choose option 2, it may be necessary for me to email you with occasional
questions regarding your intent or meaning of particular portions of your work.
Payments may be made through PayPal or by check / money order payable to ‘Ann

- Please send your manuscript in 12 point Arial or Times New Roman font, double
spaced on one side of the page only.
- If sending by snail mail, please email me for my Post Office address. This way I will
know that your submission is coming and will let you know if it does not arrive in a
reasonable amount of time.
- If sending as an MS attachment,or in the body of an email, write 'assessment ' in the
subject of the email. This way your work will become a priority.
- Please include a cover letter answering the following questions:

- What is your goal for this work? Publication in the trade market,
educational market, specific magazine, A+grade, etc.
