| Submissions Guidelines for Free Editing Quote |
- Please send one to three sample chapters (up to 2000 words) and a brief
synopsis of the work. If your work is less than 2000 words you may send the
entire manuscript.
- Include a cover letter with your name, contact details and the answers to the
following questions(if applicable):
- Who is your target audience? Age group, cultural background, etc.
- What is your goal for this work? Publication in the trade market,
educational market, specific magazine, A+grade, etc.
- If sending your submission by email, I will send you a quote within a
week. If sending by post, you may expect a quote less than a fortnight from
the day I receive your work.
- Please send your manuscript in 12 point Arial or Times New Roman font, double
spaced on one side of the page only.
- If sending by snail mail, please email me for my Post Office address. This way I
will know that your submission is coming and will let you know if it does not
arrive in a reasonable amount of time.
- If sending as an MS attachment,or in the body of an email, write 'quote
submission' in the subject of the email. This way your quote will become a
priority.
